Mrs. Madeline Nettey - Chief Executive Officer

Madeline Nettey is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CAL Asset Management Company Ltd, and provides strategic leadership for the company’s growth and operations, with responsibility for investment management, business development, client engagement, governance, and the delivery of innovative investment solutions to clients.

She assumed this role after serving as the CEO of Republic Investments (Ghana) Ltd, where she provided leadership for the company’s strategy, innovations, sustainable business growth, diversified operations (covering pensions, mutual funds, private wealth management, financial advisory), and overall performance, as well as overseeing the brokerage services subsidiary, and regulatory compliance.

Before these appointments, she occupied several strategic roles in the capital market including serving as the CEO of Republic Securities, Manager for the Financial Advisory Services Department of Republic Investments, Head of Research for HFC Brokerage Services Ltd, and managed the Corporate Finance & Research Department at Strategic African Securities (SAS) Ltd, an Investment Bank in Ghana.

Her rich experience in investment banking spans Pensions & Funds Management, Corporate Finance, Portfolio Analysis & Wealth Management, Brokerage, Trading and Investment Research. Madeline has played key roles in several transactions on the Ghana Stock Exchange which raised equity capital, and has been instrumental in debt financing through private placements. Madeline through her expertise led the development of financial models some of which evolved into a Pensions Backed Mortgage product, linking banking and pensions regulations to provide creative solutions to meet real life needs. She serves as the Chairperson of two industry sub-committees for - the Ghana Securities Industry Association and a Capital Market Master Plan committee.

Madeline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (First Class Honours) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana, and an MPhil in Finance from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB). Madeline is a Certified Pensions Specialist & a Fellow, Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM). She also holds a Certificate in Directorship (CertIoD) from the Institute of Directors (IoD-UK).
