Joshua Dery Kyekpo

Joshua Dery Kyekpo is the Chief Investment Officer at CAL Asset Management Company Ltd (CAMCOL), where he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the firm’s investment and operations functions. During his tenure at CAMCOL, Joshua has served as Research & Portfolio Analyst and, subsequently, Portfolio Manager.

In the research role, he was responsible for macroeconomic research, forecasting, and analysis that informed the firm’s tactical and strategic asset allocation, and he authored and co‑authored regular research reports. As Portfolio Manager, he managed multi‑asset portfolios and consistently delivered benchmark‑beating results for client mandates, including the firm’s flagship balanced unit trust.

Prior to joining CAMCOL, Joshua was a Research Analyst at GFX Brokers, where he oversaw cross‑asset analysis of key Sub‑Saharan Africa markets and led the firm’s successful application to become a Bloomberg research provider. Earlier, he worked as an Analyst at Stanbic Investment Management Services, supporting the client service and operations functions.

Joshua brings deep expertise in cross‑asset research, investment strategy, and portfolio construction, complemented by strong client stewardship and collaborative leadership
across investment, research, and product development teams. He holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Ghana and is a CFA charterholder.
