Compliance Manager
Prior to joining CAL Asset Management, Edmund worked with the CDH (Financial Holdings Ltd) as an Accounts Officer and CAL Brokers Ltd as a Front-Line Officer.
Dr. Opare was the Manager, Fund Administration and Reporting for CAL Asset Management Company Limited since January 2022 before his appointment as the Compliance Manager in October 2023. He is an experienced and dedicated Investment Banker who holds a PhD in Management with specialization in Financial Management from the University of Central Nicaragua, Central America. He holds an MBA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Professionally, Dr. Opare is a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana, the Institute of Financial Accountants, London and the Institute of Public Accountants, Australia. He also holds a Fund Manager’s Representative license from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ghana.
Dr. Opare has over 17 years’ experience in Fund Management and has contributed immensely to the growth of CAL Asset Management Company Limited including regulatory reporting.
